Website audits for public agencies and institutions

Find what’s broken on your website. Fix what matters first.

Sitewalk inspects large websites for broken links, accessibility barriers and technical problems, then hands your team a prioritized, plain-English fix list. Start with a free Sitewalk: we scan your site and send you a short video of the top issues we find.

The problem

Big websites break quietly.

Every reorganization, retired program and new vendor leaves something behind. Nobody notices until a resident can’t find the form, a screen reader can’t read the agenda, or a page drops out of search.

  • Dead ends

Links to pages that moved or disappeared years ago, and redirects that loop or chain.

  • Accessibility barriers

Images without descriptions, forms without labels, hard-to-read text and PDFs a screen reader can’t open.

  • Pages search engines can’t find

Orphaned pages, duplicates, missing titles and settings that quietly block indexing.

  • Content nobody owns

Expired notices, outdated PDFs and duplicate pages that confuse visitors and pad the workload.

What you get

A fix list, not a 300-page PDF.

Automated tools produce thousands of warnings. We sort them. Every paid audit includes:

  • A prioritized fix list: every issue ranked by impact and effort, so your team starts where it counts.
  • Proof for every finding: the exact page, what’s wrong, and a screenshot or code reference.
  • Plain-English fixes: written for whoever does the work, your staff or your web vendor.
  • A recorded walkthrough: a short video that explains the findings, so the report doesn’t sit unread.
  • A re-check: we re-scan 60 days later to confirm what’s fixed and catch anything new.

Three steps

How it works

  1. Free Sitewalk

Send us your web address. Within two business days you get a short video walking through the top issues on your site. No cost, no obligation.

  2. Fixed-price audit

If you want the full picture, we quote a fixed price in writing. Plan on about two weeks from kickoff to the review call.

  3. Fix it and keep it fixed

Your team works from the fix list, or we make the fixes for you. Optional monthly monitoring catches new problems as content changes.

Published, fixed prices

You know the cost before we start. Most audits are priced under $5,000.

A person checks every finding

We use modern crawling and AI tools to cover big sites fast, and a person reviews every issue before it reaches you.

No overlays, no shortcuts

We don’t sell widgets that claim to make a site compliant. We find the real problems and help you fix them.

Plain English

Written for the people who’ll do the work, not to impress a committee.

Real people, quick answers

Based on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We reply within one business day.

FAQ

Questions we get

Will this make our website ADA compliant?

An audit doesn’t make a site compliant. Fixing the problems does. We find the barriers, rank them, explain the fixes and can make many of them for you. We won’t hand you a “compliance certificate,” because no honest vendor can.

Do you need access to our website?

Not for a Sitewalk or an audit. We only look at public pages. If you want us to make fixes, we’ll need an account in your website platform.

A vendor runs our website. Can you still help?

Yes. We write fix notes so you can hand them straight to your vendor.

How long does an audit take?

Plan on about two weeks from kickoff to the review call. If your site needs longer, we’ll tell you before you sign.

How do we pay?

Purchase order, check, ACH or card. You get a written, fixed quote before any work starts, and a W-9 on request.
